WORKSHOP OUTLINE
- This workshop focuses on ‘Case Reports,’ which are considered an integral component of secondary research and is a skill that has to be eventually acquired by physicians going into clinical practice at some point in their lives.
- The primary aim of the workshop is to ensure that the student learns to acquire the skills and knowledge of basic case reporting which would eventually enable the student to document and publish interesting and rare medical cases.
- The workshop involves a two-day course that will be conducted over virtual platforms including Zoom or Google Meet.
- The course introduces students to case reporting methodology and involves hands-on exposure to case presentation, clinical interpretation, and data integration.
- Towards the end, although the students are educated on the publication process and are free to approach PubMed Indexed journals of their choice, the course does not involve active editing and proof reading from the mentor’s side for publication. Nonetheless, all our students have successfully published in PubMed Indexed journals and are currently working on a higher standard of research projects.
- For the students who have already opted in for the ‘Literature Review’ course, will be eligible for a discount and would have to pay 75 USD as a one-time payment. The methods of payment are considered for every student individually and customized accordingly.
